Tired of riding by yourself? The Benicia Bicycle Club welcomes all road riders to come and join us. There are several weekly rides to choose from. With each ride there are usually several groups that form, allowing different paces for everyone to enjoy.
Most of our members ride road bikes and we have a few members with tandems and mountain bikes too. The club currently has over to 100
members. Our members are friendly and always willing to help out with flat repairs and technical problems. Our membership ranges from a few skilled racers to leisure bicyclist enthusiasts. We have both men and women riders.
The club has monthly meetings for everyone to get acquainted. In the past we have had several excellent speakers, who have spoken on the technical aspects of bike mechanics to the pure sport of direct drive bikes. Unless posted, most of the meetings are held on the 1st Tuesday of every month. The location is usually at Ed Brennan’s Shop (Farnsworth’s Cycles) in the Benicia industrial park.

The first Tour de Benicia, club ride was held on Thanksgiving day. 20+ members showed for the chilly day ride. This ride was developed as local ride, riding through the various neighbors in Benicia and has a mid-ride stop at Starbuck's on 1st Street. The ideal is to develop a presence in our own community. Many other local towns know us well, but since we don't have any ride regroups or stops in our own town, many Benician's are unaware that they have a noted bike club in town.
